iPhone 5 Complete Review

The iPhone 5 is the newest iteration of Apple’s popular iPhone smartphone series. This is the sixth cell phone generation and the success of the iPhone 4S. There was a lot of hype about the release of iPhone 5 because Samsung was also coming up with their own cell phone, Galaxy S3, from Apple’s tech nemesis to make competition stiffer than ever. People wondered what this phone was going to bring. Ok, let’s look at the iphone 5 from the external characteristics to the ones embedded within the handset itself.

First, iPhone 5 has an LED-backlit IPS LCD, 4-inch (640 x 1136 pixels) capacitive touchscreen screen with 16:9 widescreen aspect ratio and 16 million colors, as is typical for iPhone. It is 123.8 x 58.6 x 7.6 mm (4.87 x 2.31 x 0.30 inches) in size and weighs 112 grams. This makes it the thinnest iPhone ever and the lightest one. Yeah, yeah, now your wallet will spare room for some more cash because there’s no iPhone 5 space competition, so cool!

The iPhone 5 will support the nano SIM 4G network. It has up to 64 GB of internal memory (with 16 GB and 32 GB available) and 1 GB of RAM without an external memory card slot. Seriously, with that amount of memory, who wants a memory card? I know of certain hard drive desktops with less than half the memory of this one… Huh, funny! One can watch a movie with this phone with this form of memory and listen to loads of music. The unit also supports an audio jack pin of 3.5 mm, which can be used for earphones or even loudspeakers.

The iPhone 5 supports EDGE technology and is GPRS-enabled. Wi-Fi networking, bluetooth and a USB slot are other supported technologies. The iPhone 5 has an 8 mega pixel camera on the back side for individuals with the nudge to not let every moment pass without recording it. Features of the camera include a light sensor, autofocus, LED flash, and 1080p HD videos are also made. The front 1.2 mega pixel camera can capture 720p HD videos and is compatible with applications such as Skype and Face Time. For ladies, iPhone 5 can be your best friend at such times if you forget to put makeup and you’re very late for an interview or something.
